It's bullshit if that same structure who are equally at fault as Ole stay in charge even as interim, they were literally a management team - actually, it's laughable at how desperate that entire hierarchy is.

There has to be some continuity I suppose until the new Manager arrives and then the clear out should begin. Any idea who that may be ?

The interim caretaker appointment is probably more interesting than the actual official manager appointment in the Summer. So Carrick is there till they find an interim, as far as I read it. So that puts you in Ralf Rangnick / Lauren Blanc / Arsen Wenger territory, personally I'd love to see Wenger as interim manager just to 'fuck shit up'.
As for the main appointment; Fergie wants Poch, Zidane is available if he wants to come here and Ten Hag you'd have to prise out of Ajax, others are out there but I'd be happy with any of the three.

Personally I'd love to see Wenger as interim manager just to 'fuck shit up'. I would love to see him as a permanent manager. He's the best all rounder. Made of steel, doesn't take bullshit from anyone and with a great record in the premier league. Poch is not good for us. For Fuck's sake, he couldn't hold onto the French league.

Only downside with Wenger long term is he's 72. How much of United board shit long term would he even want at that age.
Poch managing PSG will do him the world of good. PSG isn't a normal club it's a polarised freak show, players ego's off the chart on and off the pitch, a DoF that's crap and owners living a fantasy, playing global politics. Makes the Glazers look boring.
In our situation Poch would be just fine. And, he actually wants the job (by the looks of it). Poch has all the ingredients to do a real job here, not saying others can't, just do they want to take on the Glazers poisonous dogshit.

Only downside with Wenger long term is he's 72. Valid point, however he can build the foundations and oversee a successor. We need a trainer with BALLS like Sir Alex. Keane and Hughes are alternatives. I have huge reservations with Poch. Not for us no matter what the hierarchy believe. Hiring him will be a big mistake. I hope I am wrong but I don't think so.
