I thought you were hoping they would trade him!

Trade who? Howard? or Asik? Was hoping for a Bosh trade after they released Asik and Lin. In the end, we really had nothing at the start of the season after trading those 2 guys and Parsons. 3 solid starters for nobody was bad business. It was a risk though. No risk no rewards.

Trade Asik... I remember you saying you wanted him to leave.

Ye. Reason being above (thought we were able to get a better PF if we traded him and dump his salary) and he was whining he didn't get enough playing time after we acquired Dwight.

They have a long history... dating all the way back to Boogie's high school days in Alabama.

Houston wants Jeremy back :o Jeremy lin to rocketsI don't mind getting him back as he knows our plays and a solid back-up (heard we are also getting Dragic in the off season) but please, please do not offer him another bumper contract! Maybe give him a min vet pay

the best/most active trade deadline day in a quarter century. That was fun.

Which team/teams did the best deals you reckon? Dragic to heat was a surprise. He will be a great addition to them. Garnett back to Wolves was a shocker as well. On to the rockets, Prigioni for Canaan for me is 50/50. Prigioni is average/decent back-up for Beverley but I was hoping for dragic (fat chance I know ). We didn't get to see the best of Canaan as well. He has the potential imo. Just under utilized. We know he can shoot...but Mchale doesn't give youngsters the opportunity to develop. i.e Robert Corvington, Troy Daniels and now Canaan. Dmo being the exception. Don't care about Shved. He's just another Tim Ohlbrecht.

Poor loss against the Clippers. Should have won this with Chris Paul out. Harden proves he ain't the MVP. what a scrub defender he is. Bad one on one and perimeter defender and his pick and roll defense is even worse. Doesn't know when to switch and when not to.
Howard buckled under pressure. Jordan hits his free throws... Howard bricks his.
Gave too many open shots to Barnes and Crawford. that costs us the match. Terry and prigioni are not point guards. No back-up for Howard. Just wished we have Asik and Lin...probably Brooks even. Missed Beverley the most.
Coach McFail proves he's a great player but crap coach again...

Unfortunately they lost the first game 1-0. no worries, many more games to come. Okafor is like the anti bogut. Okafor could very well lead rookies in scoring in his first year (in fact most likely, he will, especially if he is a laker) it was great you beat the clippers (and the clips could lose DA, would love him to come across town and rub it in their faces even more) but the warriors have been a tier above almost everyone the whole season, they are insanely good

Lakers got the 2nd pick. Probably Timberwolves might choose Okafor instead of you guys...or maybe Towns Jr, a Robin Lopez wannabe.
Yea. Warriors really click this season. All their players including their bench are playing really well at the same time. They are so deep and they hardly have any major injury concerns. I can see them beating Rockets in 4-1 unfortunately. Hope I am wrong.
