www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/boxing/30898190Wlad Klitschko to defend his titles against Bryant Jennings from the U.S in the U.S. Don't know much about Jennings but he's unbeaten and having a go at Klitschko outside of Europe gives anyone more of a chance.

Dominant stuff from Golovkin, he really is the complete boxer, powerful and accurate punches and his head is made of granite, barely felt a punch tonight. Brave effort from Murray who is a good boxer in his own right, did well to stay in it that long but he's not in Golovkin's league, I don't know who is !?

Next up is Cotto, but boxing insiders think he'll abandon the belt before the fight is scheduled. Then you have everyone else ducking GGG like Alvarez, Froch, Ward, etc. He's maintained that he wants to unify the middleweight belts and will be willing to take a significant pay cut to do so- so who knows? Whoever he gets next better watch out though because GGG is the real deal.

He's the most impressive boxer in the world right now for me. He's deceptively powerful I just don't see anyone who could give him a hard time, for me to be able to have a chance against him you've got to be a power puncher but even then he's got a great chin so you won't necessarily worry him.

Seems this thread hasn't been used in a while, maybe time to revive it.
Anyone watching the boxing tonight?
I'm Happy for Chunky. He got a lot worried tonight mind, but ultimately he won. What's next for him?

Degale v Dirrell was a great fight. Degale was comfortably up for the first 5 rounds but let Dirrell back into it and needed a stronger last 2 rounds to keep the fight. People saying they're disappointed he didn't win more emphatically are doing Dirrell a disservice as he's a great boxer in his own right.
Was really impressed with Degale on the whole, he's got a good bit of power and caught Dirrell with some crackers early in the fight. He never looked in rouble to me at all.
Wouldn't be surprised if a rematch with Dirrell is his next fight, maybe even a rematch with Groves further down the line who has his own shot at a world title soon enough.

I was very impressed with DeGale, he was outstanding in the first 3-5 rounds. As you said he let Dirrell back into it, but credit to Dirrell for coming back as well as he did after that knockdown early on. He surprised me, he's better than I've previously given him credit for and played his part in a top fight. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried DeGale had let his chance slip around the 10th round, but after the last two rounds I wasn't confident he had done enough.
As for his next fight, I'm really not too sure. I hadn't thought of a Dirrell rematch, it's a good shout. I'd love to see a Groves rematch, I can't see it coming too soon but it's definitely one for the future.

Khan beats Algieri by Unanimous decision. Clear winner for me as well, even if it wasn't exactly a blistering display. It was sensible and he got the job done. Hopefully he gets the shot at Mayweather he's been wanting for the last couple of years, he's the number 1 challenger to his WBC title so by rights he should get his shot, I won't hold my breath though.

Tonight's boxing is into the good fights now. Looking forward to seeing how Joshua does against Kevin Johnson who's never been stopped and gone 12 rounds with Vitali Klitschko. Then it's onto Kell Brook v Frankie Gavin which could be closer than people are predicting.

Lee Selby going for a world title now, been very impressed with him when I've seen him fight previously. Be interested to see how he gets on here.

Been some top fights already. I'm also very interested in the Joshua-Johnson fight. Johnson talks a bloody good game, but I think Anthony will have too much for him.
I'm confident Selby will win this one.

Saw Cleverley stop that guy within 30 seconds but that's it. These next 4 fights should be really good.

Ryan - Hibbert was fantastic, as was Cardle - Evans. Well done to Selby, outstanding.

Mitchell up next, this is going to be a close one for me, expecting it to go the distance and Mitchell narrowly loses it on points for me.
