Yep and I think it should be Mourinho or Guardiola as well. Giggs should go and find a job, prove himself and be ready to take over from whoever we do appoint when the time comes. If not we'll be keeping a close eye on Nev.

Guardiola to City?Probably nothing at this stage, but if this is true, you kind of know Mou is coming soon.

Yeah it's all speculation at this stage. Surely he'll wait a while now to see how the season progresses if he really does fancy becoming our manager anyway. If he takes the City job this soon then so be it.
On Mourinho, I think the people who dislike him will soon warm to him if he takes over here. Don't get me wrong, he's a bellend but the fans at any club he's been at seem to love him. He's the kind of guy that if he's a rival manager you think he's the biggest tool in the world but if he's your manager and he's winning games you embrace him. Kind of like the way a lot of clubs hate players like Drogba, Suarez and Costa. If they're at your club you love them despite them being tools.
We're all football fans, so fickleness is part of our nature. I hate Jose, I don't want him to manage us, what an atrocious decision by the club, he's suck a prick. We win our first 5 games of the season and people no longer give a shit. It's the way it works.

Definitely for me it will look be between the 2. Pep hasn't any PL experience but being (one of) the best manager on the planet gives him a lot of leeway. Can't see managers like Simeone or Conte being given the same consideration.

Na me neither. Must be one of the 2 elites. I think it will be as well. I don't see Mourinho taking another job until he's certain he hasn't got a chance of getting the job here. Unless Madrid come calling I guess.

i really hope we get pep, because without Ancelotti, if we don't get Pep we may be stuffed (we could sabotage the Simeone to Chelsea thing but i doubt we could manage that even) without Pep, Ancelotti and Simeone we would be short of options (Conte surely doesn't leave the Italian post so soon right?)
it may force us to stick with LVG because there isn't much other options, in all honesty it would show how far united has gone down in stature

who sacks a manager mid season after only being the job for 6 months
anyway Zidane has taken over, assuming as Interim, they don't have many options, Pep would be foolish to go there i would think, more stability in the prem, think this shows how incompetent Perez is

That family though... I'm hoping he does well, it would certainly give me some confidence if we are to appoint Giggs.
