Maybe Flores decided to get out while the going was good ..... seems to have exercised a 12 month release clause in his contract (which he requested)
He's done better than most predicted - how many thought Watford would go back down Maybe prospects next season are not enough to make him want to stay on........ it could only be downhill from here ??
They could have at least waited until the last game is played before annoucing these things
Musical Managers ..........................

Nah their owners have brought in a new manager every season since they came in and it's worked out well so far but their luck will eventually run out.
They've tailed off in the second half of the season once they reached the 40 point mark but he's still done a great job, like you say people were expecting them to go down but they've been far off a relegation battle. Owners with high expectations.

Rumours from Dutch media and now the English picking up on it that Koeman could be off to Everton. Interesting to see what happens..

Everton agree Koeman deal.www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36455355Interesting one this, Koeman's done a great job at Soton and I'm a little surprised he's decided to move and based on the last few seasons made a sideways step really. That said Everton are a bigger club and with the new owner he'll have the funds to build, where as Soton struggle to hold onto their players and probably likely to sell a few again this summer which has probably irked him a little. Thats not to mention a huge pay rise and the potential to move to an even bigger club in a few years. Great coup from Everton's point of view, I wonder who will take his place at the Saints.

It's a shame, he's done a great job bringing kids forward...and then selling them. And selling the remaining to Liverpool
