Don't like Lloris, good shot stopper but that's about it for me. Cech's still comfortably in the top 10 best keepers in the world IMO.

Mitten: New players will be bought -- two are ready to go as soon as the manager says so. Very interesting.. one i have the feeling is Depay, or is it two other players apart from Depay. thinking something smallish for some reason

I would quite like to see an off the radar signing this summer, someone that's hardly been mentioned.

well it would be hard to get someone not mentioned considering we have been linked to a hell of a lot of players
if we got a herrera type gem though i don't think anyone would be against it at all

Van Gaal said he didn't want to announce Memphis until after the season had finished, it was only the impending move to PSG that sped up the deal.
So on that basis, if Mitten is right you'd have to assume it's two heavily linked players who are just on ice until after we play Hull. Gundogan would be my bet, the noise in the media the other week about him was simply too big for there to be nothing in it. The other I have no idea on, for the sake of guessing I'll say Hummels.

Hummels would be great, but I'd like to see a partnership develop between Smalling and Rojo in the centre if we don't get him in. Gundogan is an excellent choice as well and an out and out striker worth 20 goals a season is also needed , maybe Lewandowski or Zlatan's calibre I think as Falcao and RVP are looking more like they wouldn't reach that tally between them.

If it turns out to be Falcao I'd be sobbing.

It would make sense if what Mitten says is right. Because that's 2 players from the same club, who cover positions we need to improve. A quick, double deal could be on the cards indeed.

I don't care how high profile or low profile they are. As long as they're what we need and fit into our side well they could cost £50mil or £5mil for all I care. LVG seems the sort of manager who'll do that as well, he won't just go out throwing money at big name players to appease fans, if he thinks the cheaper alternative will be just as effective in his system and at implementing his philosophy he'll go for them.

Rumour has it that Marc Batra's release clause is going to be reduced to 10m euros this summer because he hasn't played 60% of games. That could be a great bit of business.

Hummels apparently said he wants to stay at Dortmund according to Zorc. [Kicker and BILD]
Otamendi deal apparently lined up in principle. [Ole]

Otamendi deal would be solid, and Barta for 10 million. if that is true a lot of clubs are going to be after his signature (most mid level clubs and up could afford that in the prem)

Hummels is such a wanker, if he doesn't want the step up to a tougher league and take the limelight and responsibility here then fuck him he's not who we need anyway.
