Will believe it when he is pictured shaking hands with Ole. We do however need a Good CB but no more overpriced overpaid Plonkers

We're linked with Manolas who has a 32 million release clause. That would be a very good bit of business, especially if we can offload one of the CB's, it means we can go for another world class CB and not have any issues (Koulibaly perhaps).

Not too many world-class and ready CB's out there available. I prefer Skriniar. If we can't get him I'd settle with Toby. Not convinced by Koulibaly, to moften on the floor tackling... Despite age and us being desperate for an instant improvement, I remain keen on de Ligt, what a talent he seems to be, even if we have to wait 1-2 seasons to see him adapating to the PL.
Then we need a RW, prefrebaly Sancho but think BVB will not let him go, so I turn to Lozano.
Neves for CM would be my 3rd signing. Trippier would be my 4th an final signing. Dalot needs a bit more time which he can bridge. Dalot will callenge both, Shaw and Trippier for a starting place then.
So for me next summer:
CB: Skriniar RW: Sancho (or Lozano) CM: Neves RB: Trippier

I can’t see anything happening for this window especially given the quality we need, Alderweireld’s clause activates in the summer and Inter/Napoli will probably more open to selling then. Neves would cost 100m according to Pep.. he’s good but not that good

agree, everything is about the next summer window. I like Neves, but 100m would certainly be very much for him. But then again its about who offers more value for money? With Neves it is not about what level he is today but rather which heights he can get to with only being 21 now (22 soon).

Fellaini, Rojo and Valencia to follow soon hopefully. Darmian hasn't done anything wrong here really, he's just not good enough. Pretty sure he will be decent for Juve. Proper squad player for them. Good luck for him.

I'd like to at least see some evidence that we are restructuring for Summer, so if it's pruning the dead wood, fine by me.

Unsurprisingly Juve and Inter have reportedly pulled as we aren’t willing to give him away for pittance.

Well the club certainly love being cheap as they can be (fucker the glazers btw). I mean I get it but at least show some intent, we didn't spend hardly any money in the main summer window so january should have seen at least one big signing in (Someone like Skrinar or Koulibaly).
Clearly if Valencia is going, we need a RB as well (Trippier is a good shout, if not him, Hysaj maybe could be worth a look).

How the hell has Fellaini and Ashley Young outlasted Valencia. At least Valencia puts in more consistent contributions (i know Young does his bit, but he is dead weight at this point as is fellaini).
United should at least try to get a discount then on Ryan Sessengon then.

See they've all got there uses in a squad but are any of them first 11 starters? And do they warrant the contracts they've been gifted? No.
Clearly Valencia has gone, and I love Tony V, I love his story, background and he's been a top player for us, but he's gone.
Bailly / Lindelof / Smalling you'd keep and you need one more worldy first 11 CB in there, lets say Koulibaly / Skriniar. Smalling can still do a job and should be kept as a squad player. Then you start letting the youth in, Axel, etc
Jones? Sorry but just not reliable enough and actually takes up space for those coming through. Rojo? unless you keep him for comedy gold moments then he needs to go too. One wild card mad bastard in Bailly is enough.
Young, much maligned but gets away with it as a squad player because he's a top shithouse and knows the game, but ffs he's 34. Darmian? Again not good enough and we need an upgrade
Fellaini, the less said about that whole thing the better.
