They're launching a new channel called BT Showcase that will be free-to-air. They say there will be a minimum of 12 Champions League and 14 Europa League games on it and that every English club will feature at least once.
Champions League prize money now goes through the roof with it.

1 game free-to-air but I'm fucked for the the other games 5+ games (should we qualify of course). Even if we get shown more than once I'll be wanting to watch every game and I can't stomach online streaming any longer, looks like the cunts have suckered me in. Might change my broadband to BT seems it's only £5 a month if you have broadband with them.
I'll make sure we qualify for the group stages first though!

Doing both apparently.
BT are one of the most objectionable and inconsistent providers out there, their small print T&C is horrific. I couldn't stomach giving Murdoch too much money and ditched their broadband (it was shite anyway) but before that I was with BT for a while and I needed to cancel because I was moving abroad. They actually wouldn't let me leave, even though I was on a rolling monthly contract then, it was the most bizarre conversations I've ever had.
Their damage limitation team did more damage than all their own goals put together. Monopolistic entitled cunts. :lol:

The streams I find never freeze either, it's just I'd rather watch it on my tv. I could connect the laptop upto the tv but the quality is never quite as clear.

It's been obvious that our very best games last season under LVG came when we played stronger and bigger teams, when there was an important tactical dimension. I actually believe that we can do really well in that competition. Sure we are not going to win it, but it's amazing how people are writing us off on the basis of what? I would say that we are the most suited English team for that competition. |

I completely agree. As soon as LVG took over I couldn't wait for us to get back into Europe because that's where he truly excels. It's an opinion with no sense or reasoning whatsoever. You also have to consider that some below average sides still get through to the group stage. If we get through and don't get out of the group stage I'll be incredibly surprised.
We made the quarter finals in the Moyes year with a far inferior squad.
