What a downer for us all last night it goes above and beyond the result itself Poor lad absolutely gutted for him wishing him the best recovery possible He's young and will heal quicker than a Schweini or Roo could. A clean break is probably less complicated than ligaments For sure the Utd staff will accompany him all the way back to form and hopefully, in time this will just be looked backed on as a blip in his career He still has years of playing for both club and country in front of him. Nice to see all the support for him from the football world - the only way is up

Gutted, absolutely gutted for him He's been brilliant this season, after last season being blighted by injury. He'll be a big miss, and I wish him a speedy recovery. He'll be needing our support.

Has to be said, the PSV fans were class. Well, except when they were booing Blind's every touch, but that's all in good fun

I still think the guy's just a bit shit rather than it being anything malicious.

He's not malicious but if you're shit and cant time a tackle properly and constantly guessing then you're a liability on the pitch, reckless play should be penalised and you should get the message. He got away with that scot-free again.
Keane was a good tackler with a malicious streak, Scholes was reckless and couldn't tackle for shit, he never learnt tho lol. My beef is with the referees implementing what they're supposed to implement. Tough calls to make unless you're stood on top of them but that's what they're paid to do.
Going back to Shaw, those so called goal line assistants who stand there doing nothing would have had the best view of the Shaw challenge and would have seen he didn't get the ball first and was guessing but they're just officialdom eunuchs, pointless.

Luke Shaw Making Positive Progress. Manchester United defender Luke Shaw is making positive steps forward with his recovery from a broken leg, according to the latest update from Louis van Gaal. Shaw has been on a long road back to fitness since being injured in the game against PSV Eindhoven on 15 September and the United boss discussed his progress during an interview with MUTV on Friday. Van Gaal reported: “Shaw was with his surgeon and everything is going well. His bone is growing and that is very positive, but he needs time.” When asked whether the England international could possibly return ahead of schedule, the manager added: “Yes, but when I say that then everybody thinks he is coming back within three months but it is not like that, you cannot say that.” “At this moment he is ahead in his rehabilitation but there are also weeks when he is slow. At the end, it is mostly the same [length of] time.”

Sorry he didn't make fitness to partcipate in the cup final in some form Think his unlucky break had an impact to the whole season and to LVGs plans LVG obviously had great faith in him, predicted him to be one of the key players for the 2015 /2016 season - adapted a special pre-season training regime for him which seemed to bear fruits immediately but it wasn't to be
Hope José will take care and nuture Shaw back into the team
Nice titsbits on his team mates from the official website - look forward to seeing him back and hopefully fully fit next season ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luke Shaw: Talking about my team-mates
Manchester United defender Luke Shaw may be missing the FA Cup final but he shared insightful and sometimes humorous views on the squad in an exclusive interview for the official match programme. We've published a selection of his comments - to get his full verdict on every player, pick up the Cup final programme at Wembley or purchase a copy online at themagazineshop.com...
Luke Shaw on....
David De Gea: "He's probably the greatest person in the dressing room, and one of the nicest as well. He's always asking how you are and giving you a hug."
Matteo Darmian: "He's absolutely 100 per cent focused on every little thing he does, on and off the pitch, probably even about the way he eats his lunch!"
Phil Jones: "He has the worst dance moves I've ever seen. When he tries dancing in the gym, it's just horrendous. He is quite funny though."
Marcos Rojo: "What I like most about Marcos is how passionate he is for United. You can tell after every game how much the result means to him."
Chris Smalling: "We give him stick for his voice, because you wouldn't expect it to come from him, but he's a great guy."
Daley Blind: "I tell Daley every morning that his dress sense is horrendous: big leather jacket, baggy jeans and so on."
Cameron Borthwick-Jackson: "I can't let him get away with the way he runs. He's like a human dinosaur! Maybe he can work on his technique in pre-season."
Antonio Valencia: "The guy is a machine. Big, powerful, athletic."
Tim Fosu-Mensah: "He wants to tackle everyone, run everywhere - in fact, the other day, he told us all he woke up at 2am and he just went out for a run!"
Michael Carrick: "Carras is like the father figure in the team now. He tends to give advice and look out for people because he's a caring guy."
Morgan Schneiderlin: "You can never get him out of the gym. He loves it in there."
Marouane Fellaini: "You don't want to go anywhere near Felli on the training pitch because he trains like the way he plays!"
Ashley Young: "The joker of the team and probably one of the funniest guys I've ever met. We're good friends away from football too, even though he took my position at one point!"
Ander Herrera: "I think Ander's the joker out of the Spanish lads. He'll dance around in his pants to the Spanish music and he just makes everyone laugh. I reckon he'll be a funny one to watch in the celebrations if we win the trophy."
Memphis: "We bonded quickly after he joined and we've missed playing together since my injury."
Juan Mata: "Probably the nicest footballer I've met. He's funny too."
Jesse Lingard: "He loves his music and is always dancing and messing around in the changing room. We need fun sometimes and he brings that."
Wayne Rooney: "As a captain, he's excellent. When things aren't going well, you don't want to get a telling-off from him, I can tell you!"
Adnan Januzaj: "He's such a good player. I truly believe he can become one of the best in the world if he fulfils his potential."
Anthony Martial: "What Anthony can do with a ball is scary and everyone knows it. He does everything the fans want to see."
Marcus Rashford: "He's been unbelievable; always one of our best players."

Mou almost certainly confirms Shaw is to leave  Mourinho offered a damning indictment of the left back’s attitude and application and claimed he was a “long way behind” Ashley Young, Daley Blind and Matteo Darmian in his thoughts. With Marcos Rojo also able to play left back when he is not deployed at centre-half, Shaw is a distant fifth in the Old Trafford pecking order. “Luke Shaw? It was difficult for him to be on the bench because I cannot compare him with Ashley Young, with Darmian, with Blind,” Mourinho said. “The way he trains, the way he commits, the focus, the ambition, I cannot compare. He’s a long way behind.”When it was put to Mourinho that this was an England international he was talking about, the United manager replied: “Yes. Joe Hart is an English international and is playing on loan in Italy [at Torino from Manchester City].”www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/04/02/man-utd-ready-sell-luke-shaw-summer-jose-mourinho-claims-long/
