Southampton 1-1 Spurs
Been a good game this, Spurs had more possession but Southampton look brilliant in attack, by far the more dangerous side.

Chadli equalises, they've had 2 shots on target and scored both attempts. Really not been impressed by Spurs but they're still level.

Liverpool drop more points, takes pressure off City for this game now and even ourselves tomorrow. Expect City to win this but by a narrow margin.

Newcastle have lost 7 in a row now ... and the fans were complaining about Alan Pardew earlier in the season and still wanted him out when he had a run of 6-7 straight wins. Served them right those ungrateful lots. ... and Brendan Rodgers just mentioned they were outstanding in their 0-0 draw against WBA. Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers Rodgers: "We created opportunities, our only downfall was taking those chances but that has been a problem over the course of the season. I thought the players were outstanding, their courage and play on the ball. Across the team there were some outstanding performances."We have a game in hand and we have to chase that and fight for that but if the players play like they did today nine times out of 10 they would win. We will take this confidence into the midweek game.
"We have to rely on other teams, but we can only do our job and that is still the plan."Well, good luck to them and their outstanding squad.

Villa been woeful so far, gifted City a goal and could have gifted a few more.

Villa been dominating city in this match. Benteke should have scored a couple. A very positive display from them. Tim sherwood is doing wonders for them.

Yeah they've been much better in the last 25, don't look convincing defensively though.

I think they will get something from this game. City do not look impressive at all. An undeserved lead

No atmosphere at the emptyhad, Villa much the better side in the last 20 minutes of the half. They can get something outta this game.

Villa can get a goal. They just need to try and not fuck things up in the back until then.
Benteke needs to learn the offside rule

Is it me or do City look like they just don't care? I almost want Liverpool to take 4th place away from them. The fans are shit and the players are responding to the god awful atmosphere or lack of one. Or are the fans struggling to get too excited for this game as they're players are shit?
Or both?
