List of teams that we could meet in the champions league qualifiers after Lazio beat Napoli tonight. I'd fancy us to beat them all especially over 2 legs but at the same time none of them will be an easy tie. Going to have to be on top form to get into the champions league proper.

those are some hard teams actually. we should beat them but still its not going to be that easy if we have to face Lazio, Monaco, Sporting or Fenerbache.
In saying that i think with this much at stake, if we fail to make the CL, transfers will be imminent out of the club for some players

A breakdown of how the draw will pan out.
THIRD QUALIFYING ROUND (ties 28/29 July and 4/5 August) Seeded: Shakhtar Donetsk, Ajax, CSKA Moscow, Club Brugge, Monaco Unseeded: Young Boys, Sparta Prague, Fenerbahce, Panathinaikos, Rapid Vienna
PLAY-OFF ROUND (ties 18/19 and 25/26 August) Seeded: Manchester United, Valencia, Bayer Leverkusen, (Shakhtar Donetsk*, Ajax*) Unseeded: Sporting Lisbon, Lazio plus the three qualifiers from the third qualifying round
* If either Shakhtar or Ajax fail to make the play-off round, Sporting will be seeded. * If both Shakhtar and Ajax fail to make the play-off round, Sporting and CSKA** will be seeded. ** If Shakhtar, Ajax and CSKA fail to make the play-off round, Sporting and Lazio will be seeded

Some potentially sticky ties there, not easy by any stretch, dates aren't good either.

I hope we can avoid Monaco, toughest tie by far for me, especially if they don't lose their star players. The rest, I am confident we can beat them comfortably with a proper team. I am actually glad those games are coming so soon, because it will force us to move early for our targets and get our team running properly by the start of August. I am sure LVG will take it very seriously and this could also be a benefit in disguise because we should be ready for the BPL's start as well, unlike last season.

LVG will field a full strength squad. this is vitally important. we cannot afford to miss the CL for a second year in a row.

Could face any of these Lazio, Monaco, Rapid Vienna, CSKA Moscow and Club Brugge.
None of which are particularly worrying.

I'm not liking facing Monaco or Lazio or an away trip to Moscow,

Club Brugge it is. Could've been a lot worse, nice local (ish) tie as well.

Happy with that, hope we don't underestimate them.

Mat Ryan's old team, luckily he is at Valencia now which is great for us actually (he would have caused us a few issues)
another Aussie in Ibini-Isei transferred over their so should be interesting to see if he gets game time (probably not but hey)
as for for the draw, yeah not too bad. Should get through comfortably but of course, we shouldn't get complacent, otherwise we'll lose (don't think that is going to be an issue over 2 legs, given its an LVG squad)

Anybody knows how good club brugge is? Their most dangerous players etc? We have to be wary with Belgium teams. Their national side is doing so well.

We can't and shouldn't take anything for granted but I think we could kill this one off in the first leg at OT comfortably. If we can't beat Brugge, then we don't deserve to be in the CL proper anyway.
