Don't think they were scintillating today but did enough, Juve put up a worthy fight.

I agree. I've seen Barca play much better than they did today but that only goes to show how good they are. They still won and it was relatively comfortable except for a few minutes when Juve seemed like they were going to get something. Juve disappointed me as I really expected a more effective tactical approach.
Overall, I thought it was a pretty boring CL final.

I think Patrice Evra is the only player that has lost the champions league final with 3 different teams. He could also be the player that lost the most in the finals with 5 appearances.

3-1 scoreline. well then, bit disappointing for a final, but barca have been far too good. they could keep this lineup, and would still win La Liga and CL

Barca has been doing this every year. It's either the La Liga, King's cup, Champions League or all of it. what else can the players achieve with them? Just too easy for them. They should seek better challenges elsewhere.

That was a good match, things could have been different if Juve scored first. Sad to see Pirlo cry. Well deserved win for Barca but could have gone either way.

No not following the women's world cup at the mo .................... but I get regular updates from male colleagues and work lol
More seriously - maybe I will take a look The Summer football desert is getting to me already and by all accounts the standard of the play is pretty high.

Me neither, I'm not sure it's even on tv like previous years. Saw that England were playing France but I have no idea how that ended. It would be fun to see how the US would do after all the "this is our year" commercials
