There's not a whole lot in that at all, definitely not worthy of a three-game ban. You'd see worse in a playground.

Basti will contest it and rightfully so.

I think it's fair, if you think of this case on its own (that was an intentional push from Basti, although nothing very mean in it. But now, if the FA was a non-corrupted assembly, they would have to fine almost every player on every corner kick since those kind of gesture happen all the time. Only this time Reid fell off very easily. The FA are laughable, really. Well every football institution is laughable actually.

It's only cause Reid is a cry baby and West Ham made a fuss that it was even brought to the FA.
As you say these incidents happen in every game going, it's just ridiculous.

Bastian Schweinsteiger is a doubt for Manchester United's Barclays premier league trip to New Castle on Tuesday night. The Germary International was injured towards the end of the 1-0 Emirate cup win over sheffield United and, initially, it lloked as though he would be leaving the field on a stretcher. instead, he gamely battle on rather than leave the Reds-who had already used all three substitues by that point down to men and, thankfully, Wayne Rooney kept his nerve to fire home an injury time penalty with another fixture on the horizon, Morgan Schneiderlin, Micheal Carrick and Ashley Young were rested after their ercent exertions, while the boss felt Andreas pereira showed his quality with a cameo appearance off the bench. "It shall be difficult of course [ for shweinsteiger to face New Castle]" said van Gaal " I don't know yet but i think he has a knee problem. Everyone thinks ha has an ankle problem but i think it's more the knee than the ankle. We'll have to wait and see. "Schneiderlin is not injured but he's in the red zone and had an overload. in the christmas period, he played every game we have take care of that. I don't take riskks and, because of that, we have a very young bench. I trust hese players also because pereira is coming in and was a very good substitute, I think. "With our injuries and players in the red-zone, we have to take care of it. I think we have done it well".
