I think Shireen is an interesting dark horse to sit on the throne. I'm not sure if the show has developed her character enough for it to be realistic, though.

I think Shireen will die in one of the next two episodes. Ramsey has something up his sleeve and I have a morbid curiosity regarding his next move

Nah. I think Dany will sit on the throne. She's most worthy Imo. I think she will also rally all the other kings (Stannis, Tommen , Balon ) and other sub-houses, Martells, Tyrells ,etc against The Whitewalkers and the undead (with some help from Bran and the children of the forest ) There's no way Stannis, Tommen, or Balon will even live long enough to be rallied up by Dany in my opinion. I think they'll all be dead by the end of next season. And Dany's speech gave me the impression that she wasn't going to "negotiate" with the noble houses. She hasn't learned anything from Meereen yet. Your vision of the direction of the series is too simple and good. GoT will not take that route. I expect something much more complicated to unfold. Yea. Don't think it will be this straightforward. I have also left the wildlings, the nightwatch , Vaerys , Petr Baelish , Gendry , Arya and a few others out as well. 0% chance of happening.

I think Petr Baelish will be the main antagonist at the end after the whitewalkers have been wiped out. Vaerys is still a mystery to me. Whose side is he on? Spying on someone and then backing that person for the iron throne. WTF. .. or is he another Baelish? Wants the throne for himself?

I don't think Varys would ever be able to sit on the iron throne. Not sure Westeros is liberal enough to accept having a eunuch as their leader. Varys must know that as well, since he isn't stupid. I also think Varys was spying on Dany simply because that was his job and he had to continue with the act. However, Jorah knew Dany would be poisoned so this tells me Varys told Jorah so that he would protect her. So I still think Varys has always been on the Targaryen side. He did counsel the Mad King, then gave his services to Robert (no choice really), while secretly working on a plot to put Viserys in power. Sure, he died which kind of ruined the plan but Dany turned out to be a much better candidate than her brother. GoT Book Spoiler: It also seemed like Varys was also backing Aegon (real or fake) which shows that he does not put all his eggs in one basket.

GoT Book Spoiler: Do you think Aegon will appear in the series? As we all know Aegon should have been traveling with Jon Connigton together with Tyrion but the characters have been substituted with Jorah instead.
I don't think the series will differ too much from the book. If the series are not gonna show Aegon, this means he will not be important. A ruse or red herring most likely.

Watched the ending to season 2 of The Blacklist. Fantastic show. Still got so much stuff to find out in it though.
Who the fuck is Red to Lizzie? I was convinced he was her father for so long but completely convinced that isn't the case now. Really can't work out who he is to her.

I'm still convinced that Red is her father,he cares too much about her for anything else, suppose we will have to see. That's the beauty of the show,it keeps us guessing all the time, nothing is standard.

He does care a lot. I think he's definitely a blood relative just don't know which one. I've seen an interesting theory online that he's actually her mother!

Her mother is a mysterious ex KGB agent who a lot of people don't really think existed and as of yet we don't know what happened to her. A good way to leave that life would be to turn into a fella! Red is kinda camp at times as well! Haha.
I don't buy it personally but it was interesting nonetheless. I suppose they could be trying to convince us as much as they can that he isn't her father because they want it to be a shocking reveal at some point and to be fair if that's their plan it's working on me at the moment although I have changed my mind a good 10 times since the show started. It's got a 3rd season anyway, we should find out more next season.
It will be interesting to see how they go next season because she's going to be on the run with Red. Will they still continue to tick names off his blacklist while they're on the run?
Think it's such an underrated show, don't know anyone else personally who watches it besides me.

It's a theory I suppose, but not very plausible though. I thoroughly enjoy it, James Spader is terrific in the role.
