Is Billions any good? Anyone got some recommendations?
Just got Legends, Limitless and Daredevil on the go at the moment.

I've just finished watching Vinyl, definitely recommend that if you didn't watch it first time around. I'll probably start Billions soon.

Haven't seen any of this season yet. Was waiting for it to finish so I could bingewatch it all.
Ray Donovan back on the 4th July, now there's a show!

Penny Dreadful finale last night here....huge letdown I thought. I've just read that the 3rd season is it's last and the show's writers finished it the way they wanted. So it's not a cancellation, more of a conclusion. Interested to see how it ends now then as it appears you're not the only one who was pissed off with it.

Yeah, that's the end of the road and it was written that way with THE END appearing before the closing credits being the vital clue. A great series, but after three years of watching it and enjoying every episode I must say that they concluded it terribly. The penultimate episode seemed crammed and rushed, then the finale seems to hint at continuity with some characters and then......BLAAAH. I don't wanna spoil the ending for those who may want to see it out, but to me it looked as if the plug was pulled and they had to bang out the last two episodes in a hurry or something. Terribly disappointed with it is an understatement.

Meanwhile 12 Monkeys continues to be really good into it's 2nd season. One of the best sci-fi shows I've seen and really does the movie great justice.

GoT It was actually the first time he made a decision for himself without someone manipulating him to think another way. I saw it as an act of defiance, like "fuck you Mum!"
I thought it was a truly excellent episode. The opening scenes in King's Landing were spectacular.
Arya killing Walder Frey was great, if a little sadistic.
Got goosebumps with Jon being declared King of the North. Poor Robb. It was also an interesting scene to see Baelish and Sanasa exchanging glances. Has he got into her head? Baelish may not sit on the throne like he wants but he's going to have a huge say in how this pans out.
Jon's parentage was a bit of an anticlimax as I think nearly everyone knew what was coming, still, good to get some confirmation.
Dany's fleet setting sail (at last) was another big moment. Especially considering Varys has done his job and got her some support in Westeros, there were Tyrell and Martell sigils on some of the ships.
Favourite scene from the episode was Cersei's coronation. How brilliantly dark the whole scene was and the things it can possibly set up are mouth watering. A Cersei with absolutely nothing to lose could be an even more dangerous and evil adversary.

Legends season two has finished and the whole shows been cancelled, season two was ok but I didn't really like it time jumping all over the place. Started to get more interesting towards the end of the series but doesn't matter now because that's the end. Started watching 12 Monkeys, ok so far, the main guys a bit of scruff though isn't he? Also saw Zoo being advertised, don't whether that's a second season or what

Anyone see anything of Shades Of Blue yet? Looks good enough from the trailers. New season of Ray Donovan starting here next Monday, can't wait.

There is no way I could see that as an act of defiance. He lost everything and realized what how monstrous his mother could be. It was enough for him to look for the "exit". The music was the best part of the episode imo. It seemed like Baelish was trying to instigate Sansa and make her turn on her brother. I don't think that will happen though. Sansa's stare at the end, as I interpret it, meant that she is weary of LF because she knows he won't quit that easily and therefore, Jon is now a target and being a target of LF is a dangerous situation to be wrapped up in. I was satisfied with the Jon reveal. It was hard to make it a surprise when book readers have been theorizing about it for years. How did you learn of the theory? Organically or from another source? I thought there was something off about Ned being his father just as a viewer of the show. Ned was too honourable to cheat and the way he welled up when Jon asked about his mother on the way to the wall suggested there was something more to the story.
So I typed in "Jon Snow's mother" into google and read through the theories and thought R+L=J made the most sense.
I agree on the music. The score for the opening scenes was excellent.
I'm not sure how to take the Baelish and Sansa interaction. I don't necessarily think he's caused her to turn on him but I could see there being some resentment from her to Jon. I hope I'm wrong though. Sansa's developed into a superb and strong character, it would be a shame to see her just become jealous, would seem lazy in terms of her character as well.
I forgot to mention Sam in Oldtown. I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot more of Oldtown over the next 2 seasons and it may turn into the place where the eventual victor of this conflict moves to as King's Landing is undoubtedly going to be destroyed or at least very badly damaged from battle.

Mr Robot is on my to watch list. Might start the first season in the next week.
Finally got round to watching 11.22.63. Found it strangely watchable and rather enjoyable.
