Anybody on here watching Stranger Things? I'm half way through it and I have to say it's excellent.

Is that the one with a load of kids and UFO stuff? Seen it advertised but not sure if it's for me.
Finally finished Limitless, ending was a bit tame but it was an ok series, pretty laid back and you could jump in and out without losing track. Prefer the film but the series had its moments, not sure if it's been renewed though.
Shades of Blue is alright, the usual dodgy cops storylines and things but it's watchable.
Westworld is coming soon, looking forward to that.

Why do they keep making prequels and remaking old comedies? Absolute tripe, just leave them be.

Not much on at the minute. Been watching the Night Of which is fairly decent. I've seen the first two of Westworld, I'm not sure what I make of it though, can't decide whether it's good or just a stellar looking pile of garbage. Loved the film but so far the series hasn't got me hooked. The Flash coming back next week so something to look forward too

Anybody else watching Westworld? Still not convinced by it, some parts seem intriguing but other parts I just find rather tedious and pointless. Even when reading up on it I can't remember who half the characters are.. all of them have convoluted agenda's being frustratingly mysterious. Keeping on the theme of AI, Humans is back now this is a great show and It makes you actually care (using that term loosely) about the characters whether they are artificial or not. Trinity from The Matrix has joined this series so will be interesting to see what role she will play. The Flash is back as well, with Barry travelling back in time to change events, then back again to try to put things right, then back again after fucking something else up.. he needs to make his mind up and stick with it

Watched the remaining five episodes together....really enjoyed this show. Yep, finished it too. Enjoyable series with the story wrapped up by the end, the best way.

I'm still not convinced by Westworld, maybe it's the genre but it's very flat for me. Like I said before of the storylines seem rather pointless and others pretty stupid but maybe when it's all revealed they will make more sense, Hopkins plays a great role as the mad scientist type though which is probably the only reason I have stuck with it.
Tell you what is a cracking series, The Missing on the beeb, jumps around a fair bit and can get confusing but a great story nonetheless. I don't generally care for BBC Dramas but this has been quality so far.

The second series of Humans was very good, bit slow to start with but the final two episodes were a brilliant watch. Not quite on par with the first series but not far behind.
Quarry looks like it'll be a good series, about a war vet who turns to the mob, the pilot was pretty good. A gritty crime series so if you like True Detective etc. you should like this.

Quarry on Sky Atlantic is good, it's about a disillusioned Vietnam War vet who returns home to Memphis in 1972 only to find rejection and scrutiny at every step, it's deffo got mileage in it.
