Transferred De Bruyne and Ighalo into my fantasy team for the weekend. Feeling pretty smug. I was gonna sell De Bruyne this morning, thankfully I didn't.????

Although Everton let me down it was pretty funny seeing Bournemouth equalise in the last minute.
Martinez then moaned for playing too much time when it's his fans that raided the pitch and then he brought on a sub. Alright then Roberto..

Newcastle are awful, 5-1 to bloody palace. Newcastle are going down to the championship next season and they aren't coming up, it isn't even Steven McClaren's fault (ok, maybe a bit of his fault), the players are also garbage (Coloccini has to be the worst excuse for a captain i have seen in the premier league, shit player and he honestly cannot be arsed most of the time either, he'd be lucky to get into a top team in Argentina, no way in hell Boca, River, Racing or Independiante take him because he's useless)
think two chants by the toon show this
"you're not fit to wear the jersey"
"we're shit and we're sick of it"
think we could be seeing another blackburn here

They need an overhaul but it might be too late, though as Shearer was saying yesterday they don't seem to go into the game with a plan on how to stop the opposition. Or if they have one they aren't executing it.
The players aren't arsed and neither am I tbh.
Do you have some connection to them or something Spens?

Shows how bad the league is when a fucked up Liverpool are within 4 points of 4th spot and just a further 2 points off top

I really can't predict this league at the moment. Everyone seems convinced it's between Arsenal and City but I don't even think those 2 are guaranteed top 4, nevermind it being between them to win the league. Spurs and Liverpool are definitely in this title race now IMO. I don't think either of them should be good enough to sustain a challenge and win the league but I also can't confidently pick anyone else to win it.
Arsenal are their normal, flaky selves. City are hot and cold, you think they look the best side then all of a sudden they throw in a stinker like the game vs Liverpool, they've been beat 4-1 twice already this season, I also think Aguero is a big problem for them, he's constantly injured.
I've been really impressed by Spurs over the last couple of months, Pochettino has got them well organised, as fit as any side in the league and playing some decent stuff. Probably the most in form side in the league at the moment. They shouldn't have the quality to contend the title in the long run though but top 4 is definitely a huge possibility and then Liverpool who also don't have enough quality IMO but have a top manager who seems to have got them working well quicker than I expected. Still think top 4 is the best they can hope for but I can't completely rule them out of a title challenge now.
I think we're looking the most solid team. We're not exciting to watch, granted but at the same time you can't see us slipping up and getting beat all that often. If he can tweak something in attack and bring in some pace in January then I really fancy us to get the job done. Despite me getting more frustrated at our performances week by week, the ineptness of our rivals is giving me more confidence in our ability to win it.

It's coming to Manchester.
It's the attack vs defence, which will win out, City best attack in the league and us with best defence. Honestly if we could sort our shit in attack and get another body in Jan I'd have no doubt we'd win the league.
We might not be everyone's cup of tea but we pick up points, tough to beat and have been one of the most consistent teams in the league although our performances haven't been great. City sadly playing the best attacking football in the league by far, they generally win their games when they need to, the only issue is Aguero and if they can keep him fit when it counts. I think we'll go toe to toe right till the end.
Arsenal as shown over a few weeks now don't win when it matters, they have numerous injury problems and in general terms bottle it. I like Spurs and what Pochettino is doing, they are a very fit side but they can't keep it up all season, as shown yesterday, they might be unbeaten since U.S. (Fuck off autocorrect) but have drawn too many. Liverpool likewise can't keep it up all season, fortunate to win yesterday, enjoy the bounce is all I'll say.
Oh.. I'm sorry this is Arsenal's season

I genuinely don't think we need to even play much better going forward to win it this year, thus is the quality of our opponents. Just need to be more clinical when we get into good areas.

I really like the fact that no one could predict the top-4. I don't see Chelsea filling the gap now, it's just too big, but you never know, they played much better Vs Spurs. Personally, despite our shy attacking performance, I think we have been one of the most stable side and I am thankful for it.
If we can fix our attacking force, either with a couple of purchases or by reorganising the play on the training ground, I believe we have a chance of winning it. But at the same time, I am also worried that failing to produce more goals and attacking intent might cost us vital points in tricky games. We're in a good position now, but the top-4 is far from secured, as a few draws and unexpected loss could place us 5th or 6th very, very quickly. I hope LVG will find a way of adding the missing pieces or fixing them.
A bit more fluidity in attack, and we would look like the most serious title contender imo. But it's good to have so much competition this season.
