I was sure that the scousers would bang a few v Newcastle today. Somehow I expected a reaction from Newcastle. I don't think many teams would have beaten them today as they showed great desire and spirit. well done to them.

As I've said before, this is an unpredictable league. We can all beat each other on any given week. I'm not surprised by any results in this league anymore. The lesser sides are getting more money and quite simply getting better whilst the bigger sides have all stagnated. I also don't discount Leicester for the top 4 as much as the media are doing. With the way they're playing I wouldn't be at all surprised if they maintained a top 4 place.
Slow and steady may well win the race this season.

But Chelsea being two points off the relegation zone is a delight for my eyes. Such a collapse is very much unusual. They're playing Leicester away next week-end, a hell of a tricky fixture for them. Can Leicester burry them for good? I hope so :-)

Yeah a collapse like Chelsea's is no doubt surprising but individual results aren't. Even them losing at home to Bournemouth wasn't as surprising as it should've been, especially when I saw the way Bournemouth started.

Chelsea winning is more of a surprise
I agree, impossible to predict the results this season.

The only thing that seemingly can be predicted with this season is that we won't score..

Liverpool are in good hands with Klopp for the moment. But they should be cautious nonetheless. Klopp no doubt did a great Job at Dortmund, but his team also looked right dead in his last season, very much like Mourinho's Chelsea. He is a very demanding manager, and I am not sure that Klopp's demands can realistically be met when games pile up. Only time will tell I suppose.
As much as LVG's style may look boring, we have improved tactically, we have more possession, and usually we make the other team run for the ball and manage to remain "fresh". A season is not a race, it's a marathon, and I believe this is yet another blessing in disguise with LVG's so far boring style as I think our players will look fresher as the season advance compared to other teams.
But hey I might be completely wrong ;-)

1-0 Palace
It's not just us with possession that counts for nothing.

Arsenal and Chelsea tonight, the Gooners need to win by 2 goals I think. Chelsea just need to not lose.
G Nevs Valencia in action tonight as well, who needs a win and help from elsewhere.
Which match to watch..
