Tidied it up as best as I can be arsed.

I would say I pretty much agree with the list above. The players I would let go assuming Mourinho comes in:

- Romero: I'd rather have Johnstone, not one bit impressed by Romero, shaky and unreliable in my books.
- Darmian: not a bad player, but lacks in attacking areas, lacks in power, strength, too short for a BPL full-back, especially for Mourinho: I'd rather keep Valencia and Varela.
- One of Rojo or Jones, or both: in one word they're unreliable (injury, form, etc.) TFM all day long instead of them, but I am sure Jose will buy a couple of new CB anyway.
- One of Carrick or Schweini: I'd personally keep Carrick for yet another season, age is catching up but he remains one of the most reliable and classy CM we've ever had.
- Young: no hard feelings, just not useful for us.
- Januzaj: I've never liked his attitude, the boy is going nowhere here.
- Rooney: I think he is becoming a burden, I really think so. He can still show class and quality at times of course, but I think he has been holding us back for a few seasons now because he takes one precious spot in the line up: you look at the quality of Martial at just 20 and you realise it's time for Rooney to make way for more of those quality players. He's had a brilliant career here.

What we need to add this summer:
- one or two CB (depending on who leaves: Stones or Varane
- one CM: Kante or Nainggolan
- one right attacker: Griezmann, the one player we must break the bank for
- an experienced striker to fill the gap until one of Rashford, Wilson and/or Keane is fully ready: a profile similar to Giroud would be excellent for our team imo, Lewandowski being the perfection among that type of striker in my books (not saying we should sign him, I know he is unrealistic ;-) )
- Introduce Pereira because he has massive potential
- Keep introducing TFM, Varela, BJ, Wilson, Rashford, Keane,... I've been truly amazed by their quality
- Keep Fellaini: yeah, I know what you think, but trust me Mourinho would get the best out of Fellaini in a box-to-box role, just like our national manager has done for many years.
- Have Neville as one of Mourinho's assistants if Giggs (understandably so) wants to leave.

Board

Glazers - Not going to pretend to know all the ins and outs about them but we've had some great success under them, although that was mainly under Fergie who was able to get the best out of a squad with a not particularly high net spend. There are definitely issues with them but at the same time they were willing to fork out over £50mil on Martial so I'm not sure they're the biggest problem at the club but they're undoubtedly A problem. STAY (for the timebeing)

Woodward - Like Hammy I believe he needs to go back to working on the finances, the footballing side has been far more bad than good under him. The Moyes season was an absolute joke from him and LVG's first summer wasn't much better with so much posturing in public but very little done besides some panic buys at the end of the window. He got the benefit of the doubt and last summer made some great signings with minimum fuss which made me think he might have found his feet but as the season's gone on he's been absolutely clueless. Louis should've lost his job round about new year and Jose brought in which would almost certainly have had us going close to the title IMO, instead we're outside the top 4 and the FA cup the only thing left to play for. There's also the Renato Sanches transfer which we missed out on after scouting him over 20 times because we still couldn't decide what to do. In come Bayern and sign him with minimum fuss. He's just shown himself to be completely inept in his position and needs to go.

He's the biggest part of this apparent lack of planning at the club. Didn't have a clue what to do when Fergie went and 3 years later we're none the wiser. It literally seems like we're going to keep throwing shit at it until something finally sticks. We should've been all in for the likes of Klopp, Pep and Ancelotti but instead we've backed ourselves into a corner making a risky Mourinho appointment the only viable option. go back to his old role

Coaching staff

I'm not going to judge them all individually as I think they all need to go, Giggs included. Louis is a truly endearing character and 10 years ago he may well have been the ideal person for the job but that time has gone and he really isn't up to the job. Poor football and Moyes(esque) results this year show he's not improved us 1 jot this season despite spending a stack of money on some very good players. He's constantly making questionable decisions which rarely pay off and is coming out with stranger comments in the media every week. He's improved a couple of players and brought through some kids but that's not enough to convince me that he deserves to stay for his final season. Giggs needs to go and manage somewhere and prove he's upto this job, come back in 5 years. All leave

Players

DDG - No brainer, have to keep him at all costs. Best keeper in the world. - STAY
Romero - Scares the shit out of me but he's only a backup, no need to replace him. - STAY
Johnstone - There's no need to get rid and I actually think he's got potential. Let him leave if he wants to but keep him if he wants to stay. - STAY

Smalling - Come on leaps and bounds but isn't a defensive leader. Get him a quality partner and we'll have the best CB paring in the league. - STAY
Blind - Performed admirably in defence this season but his future really is further forward. Really versatile, likeable and classy player. - STAY
Rojo - Simply not good enough. Reckless, full of mistakes and injury prone. - LEAVE
Jones - Frustrating player who appeared to have loads of potential. Injury prone and hasn't improved his game since arriving 5 years ago. Having said that he could be perfect for Mourinho. Add to that he's English and still young and I think we should give him 1 last season to prove himself. - STAY
Mcnair - Good footballer with potential and is really versatile. Deserves to stay and have more of a role in the squad next season. - STAY
Blackett - Thought he had some potential but has barely made an impact for Celtic this season and we have better youngsters. - LEAVE
Fosu-Mensah - Bags of potential. Quick, strong and a great footballer. See his future in midfield but his versatility is an added bonus. Think he'll become a top class player. - STAY
Tuanzebe - Best young centre back at the club in my opinion. Could go on to be top class if he progresses the way he should. - STAY
Shaw - Another of those no brainers. Will become the best left back in the world IMO, if he comes back from this injury ok. - STAY
Darmian - Very good defender but shocking going forward. The fact he can play both sides is useful and with 1 season behind him I think he could kick on and improve next season. - STAY
Varela - Was starting to put in some quality displays for the first team before getting injured. Really think he's potentially the best right back in the squad and with an extended run in the first team he could establish himself in that position. - STAY
CBJ - Another very impressive youngster. Don't only think he's good enough to play back up to Shaw but in time could prove to be a genuine challenger. - STAY
Valencia - I think he's a useful player as he can play both right back and right wing but I think there are players who deserve chances more than he does, especially at right back. That being said we're light on wingers so until we bring someone in we should keep him. STAY (Unless we sign a winger)
Love - Decent player but I don't think he's quite got what it takes to make it here. May be worth keeping him and sending him on loan to see how he progresses with a season of first team football though. - STAY (but loan out)

Carrick - Been a great servant but he's past his best now and he gets too much playing time over other members of the squad. Would prefer us to let him leave and bring in a youngster or promote TFM to midfield full time. - LEAVE
Herrera - Not been great this season but it's no wonder when Louis has had him in and out of the team. In my opinion he's the most gifted midfielder in our squad and with the right manager and a constant first team place he could become great. Also a very likeable character and in a season of gutless performances he's one of very few who seem to give their all in every game even if it's not going well. - STAY (and play more)
Morgan - Pretty much the same sentiments as Herrera and he's also one of those players who will benefit from Carrick leaving. He should be a mainstay in that holding role for us and one of the first names on the team sheet. - STAY (and play a lot more)
Basti - I think he's signed for us a few years too late but almost certainly still has something to offer. For me he's the only genuine leader in the squad and when he's played this season, I think we've looked a much more calm and composed outfit. Hopefully he can get and stay fit next season. If he does I'm sure we'll reap the rewards from this. I'd like to see him in a 3 man mid with Morgan and Herrera.- STAY (and given the captaincy)
Mata - One lovely bastard and the classiest player we have. When he's able to work his magic he can be a joy to watch but we haven't played to his strengths which mean he's often been pretty ineffective. If we go to 4-3-3 I really don't mind him on the right as he gets more space and time on the ball. Also Herrera does the defensive donkey work. If he stays and we play him at #10 we have to buy a top classy, pacey winger who can help Martial and Rashford open up the game for him to weave his magic. If none of those happen I'd rather see him leave. - STAY (but dependant on how we set up next season)
Fellaini -  Feel for him a little as he's nowhere near our worst performer on a weekly basis and if used to his strengths he can be an absolute handful. My biggest issue is I just don't enjoy watching him play and his style doesn't suit the identity of the club. If we kept him on the bench and used him as a plan B during games then I'd just about accept him staying but he should not be a constant starter. A little torn but... LEAVE (although not as adamantly as I have been in the past)
Lingard -  Gets a lot of stick because of his decision making and rightfully so but I think he's a later bloomer and has potential to keep improving. Considering it's his first real season of first team football at this level he's done well but he does need to start ironing out some of the flaws in his game. Definitely a STAY though.
Memphis - Was really excited when we signed him but he's been shite this season. I'm willing to write all this off and he undoubtedly deserves next season to prove his quality. Needs to get his head sorted over the summer. - STAY
Januzaj - Bags of potential but getting less and less likely that he does anything with it. Want to keep him for at least another season though as I think if we let him go now he could be one of those who comes back to haunt is in the future. - STAY
Pereira - Classy little player who has deserved to be more involved this season. Has to stay and be given more game time. He will turn into a top
class player. - STAY
Young - Improved under LVG and showed lots of versatility. Not convinced he's good enough though and if he's a starter for us then you feel we either haven't invested properly or a better player is sitting on the bench. Like Valencia though, he needs to stay until we sign Wingers as we're really lacking in that area. - STAY (unless we bring in wingers)
Powell - Had lots of potential but hasn't worked out and I think this is a good few levels above where he'll end up. - LEAVE

Rooney - Often the only one trying but he's not a good enough footballer anymore to warrant his standing in the team. He's not a captain and he's not deserving of playing as a striker, a number 10 or in midfield as we have better players to play all those positions. He's been declining for years and I think this summer might be time to cut ties with him. Although it's very unlikely as even if Jose comes in he almost certainly stays as Mourinho has made no secret of his admiration for him. With all that considered, I'd like to see him.... - LEAVE
Martial - World class player in the making. Superb first season and boy how good he'll become. - STAY
Rashford - An absolute gem and has almost certainly nailed down his future in our first team. I think he's the most natural striker in the squad and he's the reason why I no longer want to see a Kane/Lukaku brought in. I'd much prefer Zlatan to come in as it gives Marcus someone experienced and at the top of the game to learn off for a few years before he retires and also someone who won't warrant playing every game which means the 2 can share the load at 9. - STAY
Wilson - Have to admit I've been a little disappointed with his form for Brighton as I expected him to rip the championship up. Definitely retains the potential and needs to come back here next season and stay as part of the squad. Might be worth trying him coming in from the right as he certainly has the attributes to play that position. - STAY
Fletcher - Made more of his loan spell than Wilson and will count himself a little unlucky at going out on loan as he would've almost certainly got some playing time here with the injuries we've had. Think he's potentially a very good, powerful striker and I'd like to see us loan him out at a higher level next season.  - STAY
Keane - Look very promising in his younger years but so many have come past him now it makes no sense to keep him. Probably not good enough for this level anyway. Time to leave. - LEAVE

So to sum up. I want Woodward to go back to his old job, the management team to all leave. I also want us to get rid of Rojo, Blackett, Carrick, Fellaini, Rooney and Keane. With Young and Valencia also being let go if we sign the players we should in their respective positions.
