if malaysia can't beat burma then idk Burma are pretty decent actually. I think you need to pay slightly more attention to South East Asian football since Australia are set to join

the Bakries have sacked Mike Mulvey
fucking useless management. Mulvey is a great manager, its our shit players that are the issue and the fact that these stupid shits can't be bothered spending money. #bakriesout
the sooner they fuck off the sooner the roar can get up to potential. i can imagine the fans are going to be pissed also. a den walkout with we want bakriesout chants (like sydney fc last season)
you give your manager sweet fuck all to work with and expect him to pull results, just fuck off, seriously go kill yourself also like your doing to inters status as a big team
who are we going to hire also. there is literally no one of quality i can think off unless they look to europe (and we better be looking to spain, germany or the netherlands for a good quality coach)
the Victory if they where smart would hire mulvey. Muscat is useless, Mulvey would solidify their dynasty
note: not 100% official but it will be made official tonight/tomorrow. their needs to be an ipswich or springfield team to wake them up. crowds have stagnanted, they haven't done anything really in terms of promotion, we have no excuses to not be pulling 25k to games

Not according to the FIFA world rankings. Burma are 137, Malaysia are 156 , Singapore are 163 and Thailand are 165. Indonesia is at 157....and do you know that tiny Laos is at 154 ? ... above the so called 'Football Giants' in South East Asia Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand in the FIFA world rankings?

only way i accept this move as a good one from the roar is if gombau is poached from adelaide
(great manager and he can tell jamie youngs parents that their son is a shit goalkeeper, thats it mainly, and his style is so fluid and would fit nicely)

what makes it worse is that they posted it and the media caught onto it before mulvey, fucking disgrace
Fong and Dobson need to fuck off also for unprofessionalism
terrible day for the club, just when we looked like we where taking that next step to proper top tier up with the victory in terms of fans.

we need to cull most of our players
I will go and do a scenario thingy again
In: Luke Devere (for free) Adam Taggart (on loan from Fulham) Jason Davidson (on loan from West Brom)
Out: Jade North Shane Steffanuto Jean Carl Solorzano (Borrelo is already outplaying all our strikers almost)
Trial/see interest: Johnathan Reis (he is very skilled but did not live up to potential, a bit like thomas broich) Cristian Baroni (released from fenerbache, would be a marquee and broich, being naturalised would be the new aussie marquee) Simao (only if petratos goes, fitness would have to be tops, actually more likely to go to indian super league) Malik Fathi (after this season since davidson is only temporary at left back) Younis Mahmoud (the most prolific scorer in asia, with champions league, he could be our +1) Lassad Nouioui (has played in europe at the highest level, only 28 would come in under the cap) Kriztian Nemeth (played for Roda most recently, only 25 and has a good build, hungarian striker who could come and do well here) Deniz Naki (german-turkish player who recently played for genclerbirligi, is quiet the player, would fit our style) Vagner Love (played in china most recently for shandong)
promotion of a lot of youth (Clut etc)
Theo Hingert - Smith - Devere - Davidson Brattan - Lustica McKay Petratos - Taggart - Broich Bench: Donachie, Clut, Borello, Bowles, Young (yes, you are only allowed 5 subs on an a-league bench, cause logic)

as for potential managers after this season: - Ange Postecoglu (if the FFA are retarded enough to actually sack him if he doesn't do well in the asian cup, let him come back, just don't let him go this time) - Spanish coach linked with Perth Glory (i forget his name, but he had credentials of managing malagas youth, can speak english also and is young) - Josep Gombau (this would take some doing, but taking him off adelaides hands to get him to manage the roar, we love a good passing team and he can bring that back to us, also his recruiting is superb) - Micheal Laudrup (he's managing in Qatar, if you can manage there you can manager in australia) - Marco Van Basten (chances are he gets another job but its worth a shot i guess, he is a very good manager by australian standards) - Martin Jol (very unlikely, but hasn't taken a job since he got the sack at Fulham, good wad of cash would be needed, or maybe just the weather) - Jan Wouters (was manager of Uterecht for 3 years till this year, he likes his aussie players so i assume he has some knowledge of them) - Leon Vlemmings (manager at Feyernoord for 2 years from 09-11, only 44 years old) - Mario Been (manager at Genk till recently) - Bert Van Marwijk (i think his cv speaks for itself, most likely far beyond our reach though)
we would start reaching high, then come lower and lower obviously. hell, if we can manager getting a martin jol, it would be a miracle, even van basten would be a spectacular steal. the point is that any of these managers would do a good job, but that is the minimum standard we should be looking for, no less

actually watching the burma-malaysia match
i'm amazed that Robbat got himself sent off in 35 minutes with two yellows (though a bullshit challenge that doesn't get carded would get the player fired up, should have kept quiet)
fair to say that first half was ugly. the hacking was real
