Ben Pearson has extended his loan at Barnsley and starts again tonight for them, he's already scored a goal for them as well. Always been impressed by him, I'm almost certain that even if he doesn't make it into our first team he'll eventually be a premier league player.

Yeah, from what I saw he played really well. I'm glad he's started his loan well. I hope it continues.

Lingard scored for Derby yesterday and Will Keane's injury mustn't have been serious as he started at the weekend and last night for Sheff Wed, scoring at the weekend.
Also Ben Pearson appears to be doing really well at Barnsley, starting and playing 90 minutes in every game of late and they're picking up some good results,

Thought Janko put in another solid performance for Bolton yesterday as well.

Well he's started every game for them since joining (in one of the most physically demanding leagues around) despite only making 1 senior appearance in his career. Says a lot about him.

Always had Pearson down as having potential to do something here, he's got some of the attributes that Van Gaal requires from Rooney in that midfield position. Very combative, doesn't care if you're 7ft he'll take you on and you'll not have an easy game against him, full of energy as well and he rarely loses possession whether it be with a stray pass or dwelling too much on the ball. I'm not saying we should have kept him around and thrown him into the starting lineup right now but yeah he's a good little player.

I don't think I've ever seen a Barnsley game... I'll have to change that.

Just reading around and the fans and journo's seem to love him. Supposedly the manager has been looking for tenacity and steel in midfield all season and he found that in a 20 year old with no first team experience. Again like the championship league 1 is not an easy league to play in, very physical and for him to be holding his own as this tenacious, steely midfielder is impressive. Maybe a championship loan is in order next season. I'd like to see him go on the pre season tour.

If we are to sell Angelo Henriquez, then the price should be more than 5 million or so. One million is a joke of a transfer fee for this guy.
