I've only ever been to the airport - but that place is pretty amazing on its own. Killed 6 and a half hours there without ever really being bored.

Hi Rach... Sorry for the late reply. Was really busy with my work last week and bad connectivity at offshore as well. Hopefully I am not too late with my response. Since you won't be there for long, you wouldn't have the time to visit many places but if you are into shopping, Singapore is the place to be. Head over to the Orchard area. There are many shopping malls/complexes all around the area. Another place to go is the Marina Bay Sands area ... however the prices there is a little steep. Vivo city is also another shopping mall you should go and have a visit. You wouldn't have any trouble finding food if you are not picky. It's also the rainy season, prepare an umbrella wherever you go and if you are taking the public transport, MRT , taxi or the bus, remember that after 4pm will be peak hour up until 8pm. Sometimes you need to queue or wait for up to 2 hours to get your transportation. I almost miss my flight because of this. Hope that helps a little. IMO, if you are into branded stuff, premium outlets in the US would be a better option. The prices over there especially during Black Friday and the festive season are ridiculously low.

No worries Rach. Hopefully you will have a great stay there! Hop over to Malaysia next time! By the way, if you have the time, do check out Resort World Sentosa's Hard rock cafe live band if you are into music. Been the best Live band I have heard so far in all the places I have traveled. Better than the one in Dallas, Hollywood and San Diego. Have recommended it to all my buddies and they mentioned the same thing as well. Work is easing a little ...

What did you need with 15 Coach bags? Friends asked me to get for them and I made quite a bit by selling at a higher price.

I have no problem with capitalism! How much profit did you make per bag?

Around RM400-RM500 per bag. However ,I gave some to my family members. It's not just the bags, I bought about 40 pairs of Levi jeans as well. It was freakin cheap over there. They were selling around USD39.90 for 2 pairs during Black Friday . It costs around RM200-RM250 for a pair of jeans over here.

Hi there, just got back this morning ....... it was a great trip - true mainly work - but I managed to explore the local cuisine and had all kinds of lovely seafood, including chilli crab and then some dim sum which I love . The umbrella came in useful, thanks for the tip - when it rains - it really rains. Stayed in and around the Orchard area, some interesting sights especially at night especially for the men lol Lovely Christmas decorations everywhere. Had one of the best massages ever from a 60 yr old Chinese lady - I truly believe she had metal thumbs and she found knots I didn't even know I had - talk about torture - needed that to face the 13.5 hr flight home Would like to return but this time as a real tourist and have more time to explore
