Mark Hughes is the one you're surprised at. I was trying to think of just Premier League years.
The other three I've looked up so I won't say them - I'd have never have got them though. I've never heard of two of them and I didn't know the third had played in Spain.

Well done Eric. Yep. Samways is one of them.
One made his name at Everton and went on to play for Arsenil late 80s, early 90s. Midfielder
The other played for Villa middle 90s, early 2000s but only played a handful of games for Rayo Vallecano. Once again midfielder.

Anymore clues?... the 80s one is tough.
Samways was easy. I used to follow his progress when I was young. He had a distinct look. He also had a unique name.
90s villa player? Dalian atkinson? Dean Saunders? Paul McGrath? Nigel spink? Neil cox? Ugo ehiogu? ... lol..

The Villa player also played for Notts County 1988-1994, Leicester City 1994-95, Aston Villa 1995-2000, Rayo Vallecano 2000-2000, Southampton 2000-03, Dunkirk 2009. Initials MD |
