I'd rather Klopp go there if the other option is him replacing Mourinho. You may never know.

Bit of a generalization there Mr Dave.
Nah I'd just have preferred to see them hang around down there in the middle or even nether regions of EPL for the long term under him. With their occasional piece of joy. Once in a blue moon of course (And that's only the transfer market I'm talking about)
Just the comical value and near certainty of it has now disappeared now that he's gone. Much the same as them when Moyes left us. They've been nowhere near s vocal about us since
Anyone that comes in now can only do better.

By the way who's their best players
They buy other teams' best players and think they've landed gems.
I really hope that doesn't end

hopefully Klopp holds out for Bayern, and Ancelotti has more sense than joining Liverpool (especially if the City and Chelsea jobs are going to be open soon)

Brilliant timing for them sacking Rodgers, literally none of the news outlets are talking about the manner of our loss to Arsenal. It's all about the Scousers. Thanks for doing the manager's job for him and relieving the pressure on us.

They've made contact with Klopp and Ancelotti reps according to Sky. Don't think they can save them straight away, the players Rodgers has wasted money on simply aren't good enough. Got to ask if Ancelotti is going to lower himself to a club not in the champions league. Klopp could see it as a project because he's young and has built teams in the past but you've got to feel Ancelotti won't fancy the job right now.

A little concern. Klopp going over to Liverpool will make them title contenders. I hope they sign Souness or Big Sam instead.

Klopp will not instantly make Liverpool title contenders. To do that he needs the players, which he doesn't have. Then he needs the budget and a club with the pull to attract the best players, which he doesn't have. He might get them to be constant in terms of challenging for top 4 but they're a country mile away from challenging for the title. It's going to be a project for him, like it was at Dortmund. They finished 5th and 6th in his first 2 seasons there, won a couple of titles then we all know the way he left. Fair enough they sold all their best players but Liverpool are in a similar position, they can't keep hold of their biggest talents either.
It's a big challenge for him and there's no guarantee he'll be a success. Ancelotti would be a much safer bet in my opinion but I think they'd struggle to attract him.

Just cause he operated with a low budget team in the Bundesliga, doesn't mean he'll be an instant success in the Premier League, which we all know is completely different than any other European one. Of course I wouldn't like to see Klopp managing Liverpool, because he looks like a lovable guy, but part of me is interested to see what he will be able to do for them.

He's unproven outside of Germany though. Don't get me wrong, I'd have him at United if we were looking for another manager but I'd still be cautious about my expectations. He's not a guarantee for success in the short or long-term in my opinion. Do I think he'll be a success? Yes, but as I say there's no guarantee. I think he has to get them into the top 4 this season though, especially with the way Chelsea have started the season. They may not have as good a chance next season. Then you're 3 years out of the champions league, top players go elsewhere and Liverpool are stuck in the same position regardless of who their manager is.
Anyway we shouldn't be worried about Liverpool, we should concentrate on ourselves. I don't care who their manager is, I'd fancy us to beat them any day at the minute. In truth I'd actually like to see a strong Liverpool as long as United are stronger. It makes the derbies more interesting and exciting.
