Yes about time some sort of Balance was made. How is David supposed to watch vastly under performing players in the outfield who are earning way more than him.
De Gea is the glue holding the pack of cards together - get rid of the Jokers

He wasn't shit but he was far from his best. Really happy he's staying though. I would never judge a player by 1 preseason game but yesterday he looked all over the shop. Hopefully with his new contract he can fully focus on getting back to his best. We're much better with him in the team than without.

Go for it Dave. Not the most vocal but looking at our squad at the minute I can’t see anyone else who is more suitable.

I repeat the question. Has he actually signed yet? He's the last one I want to see out the door but what is he actually waiting for? If players want to play for United they should be fully committed and De Gea isn't giving me those vibes at all. His head is in the clouds and it's showing in his performances. For me he was in the top 3 in the world until the last 3 months of last season. His distribution wasn't the best and he flaps at crosses but his reflexes more than made it for his weaknesses. Now his reflexes are letting him down and he's lucky if he scrapes into the top 10. He probably doesn't but I'm being a little biased. I'd give him till January and if he still hasn't signed I'd sell him. If not we risk losing him for nothing next summer.

There has been no announcement so you can only say, no, he hasn't signed. I would say everything is in place for him to - and yes he can walk away on a free in january.
If his head isn't in it, let him go. You might as well clean house totally as Pogba will be gone in the Summer. OVER TO YOU BOARD.

With the European transfer market closing and the international break coming up we will hopefully have some news soon. Ole seemed to be pretty confident earlier, the wage bill has been freed up, Dave seems committed with his comments about captaincy (has the armband when Young’s absent) and such so just seems a matter of time.
Palace blunder aside he’s been fine this season.

Rumours that De Gea won't sign a new contract just won't die. Apparently Juve or PSG want to take him on a free next summer. I have to say I wouldn't blame De Gea if he does decide to leave because after so many promises over the years we're still no where near fighting for the 2 big titles. On the other hand he would be a bit of a cnut for letting the club get nothing for him but then again I'd blame Ed just as much for letting it get to this stage in the first place. What a mess. Don't understand why the club are dragging their heels. I'd give him a deadline until the end of September and if he doesn't commit then drop him to the bench and give our other GKs a chance.
