‘Despite the likelihood of ending the window devoid of two targets, United sources have told the MEN they feel they have clinched three 'great signings', enhanced the squad togetherness and have exciting young players emerging.’

If Spuds get Dybala and Dybala chooses Spuds for less money over us and we get nobody in, it exposes this club beautifully.

They can all go out to dinner as a group, go on holidays together and buy each other nice Xmas presents. What more could we want as a club? Still wondering who the youngsters are going to learn from though. Lingard, Martial?

Really feel for Darmian. Came to us as a talented 25 year old and leaving (possibly) as a 29 year old misfit. If the club didn't think he was good enough then they should of let him leave years ago so he at least could of had the opportunity to reach his potential. One of our biggest problems as a club, extending contracts for players who shouldn't be anywhere near the club. Our transfer dealings are abysmal. This summer we let València, Herrera go on a free and Released James Wilson. Not a penny earned. Good luck getting rid of Rojo. Maybe get 5m for him from some desperate club and we couldn't give Bailly away.

Herrera was the criminal one, utter arrogance, incompetence and negligence rolled into one.

Blow for Herrera Ander Herrera will have to wait a bit longer to make his Paris St-Germain debut. The former Manchester United midfielder has just tweeted a picture of himself with a cast on his leg.

Mandzukic is a tricky one, ideally you want him on a 12 / 18 month free or loan, you don't want to be giving him a 2/3 year deal at 33. So I get the reluctance there.
