Being reported that we now have a net spend of 140m over the last 4 transfer windows.
Average of 35m per window, and outspent by Everton apparently.

Well that was a bit of a damp squid. What happened this summer? Did the owners of the top 6 clubs have a get together and say listen lads, I've got a couple of new villas in the south of France to pay for so if you don't mind let's all not sign anyone so I don't look bad.
Can excuse obviously Chelski and maybe Man Shity because they've a strong squad and may have only signed 2 (first team) players but those 2 will make them stronger. Loserpool worse than us and they definitely needed midfield re enforcement. Arsenil have signed without really spending money. Spuds have really only signed one starter and if Eriksen goes they're fecked. We plugged important holes but as usual left the job half done because we won't be able to score for shit and have very little midfield creativity and once the Frenchies start pouting then we'll end up in free fall like last season. Not even going to watch Oles presser tomorrow because he's just going to come out with the same old shite about trying hard to sign the right player but then decided the squad we have is more than capable of winning the treble.
When SAF said there's no value in the market that was definitely a warning about the things to come. And here we are.

Thankfully all over.
The toffee’s happily waste 35/40m on Iwobi but won’t buy Rojo, I mean if you want to be stupid might as well go the whole hog.
Has been a strange window, none of the top 6 making huge strides but the fee’s for a half decent player is crazy these days. Clubs are making sure they get the right players rather than stockpiling. Citeh’s title to lose and another scrap for four between ourselves and the rest.

If you want to sell half of your best players and replace them with downgrades then yeah.
Except all the parasite scum had to do was the minimum 4 man rebuild which would virtually have guaranteed us top 4. Instead we got this half arsed bullshit again. As for AM they got on with it, bit the bullet, did what needed to be done, spent 113m on Joao Felix, who knows how they will gel - and that's the key, how they gel as a unit. |

Aye but Ole does seem to have his targets and doesn’t want to deviate, it’s a long process and they told us that. We’ve potentially sorted our back five out for the next half decade, that is a step in the right direction and platform to build upon. That’s the key for us, gelling an exciting coaching team with fresh ideas and a youthful squad across a full season with no drama. |
