Yep, there's only 6 episodes of it but it can't keep my concentration. Find myself surfing the net or messing around on my phone whenever it's on which is pointless when most of the show is in subtitles.
Think I'm going to delete it.

The Shannara chronicles has been awesome so far . After 4 episodes, I am hooked to the show. Great acting, storyline and cgi. A must watch imo.

Some episodes of the Expanse are on youtube. Not the best quality, but I've still put them down below if anyone is interested. Pity it was only the first 3. Episode 1: Episode 2: Episode 3:

It is MTV, so I have to ask - does it have cheesy dialogue? I'm skeptical when it comes to channels such as MTV and CW - too much of a history with cringey teen dramas.

Yea it does but it's not too bad really. I have seen worst!.lol. The pros outweigh the cons imo. It's also nothing like Twillight...haha.
I will try downloading the expanse series. Looks decent.

Watched the first episode of Make of a Murderer and to be honest wasn't much impressed. The Crime and Investigation network have profiles like that but instead in 10 episodes they fit it into 1 hour or so. I feel like this episode is a little one-sided, but I'll watch the rest just so I'd be able to comment.

Did anybody bother watching Blindspot? Decided to finally give it a watch as it's been piling up on sky planner, watched the first 4 episodes so far and I think it's really good. Really captivated me and stoked my interest. Good mysterious plot.

Watched a few and gave up on it, just became too repetitive for me.

Don't you watch The Blacklist? That's as repetitive. The whole point is that the tattoo's mean something about why she was kidnapped as a kid and sent back to him after all these years. It would be pointless if they just ignored them after a couple of episodes.
Anyway you've missed a good show. High ratings and got commissioned for a 2nd season pretty sharpish.

James Spader keeps the blacklist alive for me and the guy in Blindspot is nowhere near as good.

Saw the trailer for Blindspot. Didn't catch my interest. Only saw the first season of Blacklist as well.

Surprised you like it Jamie since the acting and dialogue is pretty bog standard.
The Lucky Man looks interesting, not sure about James Nesbitt as the lead though.

Spader is brilliant but it's also a repetitive show in terms of setup. Very similar to Blindspot to be honest. Mysterious background plot whilst they chase down different, specific bad guys every episode. Neither are anything outstanding but I could think of worse ways to kill time.

Don't think there's anything wrong with the acting and dialogue in Blindspot. There's far worse out there. I watched every season of Under the Dome for crying out loud!
