Might give it a go. Sci-fi really doesn't last for too long in series
Grinder is still kinda funny, but more like the excess air out of your nostrils kind of funny. I still haven't decided if it's a nice light series to kill time with or a complete waste of time. On the other side, 2 Broke Girls is probably my all-time favorite comedy show now. HIMYM can suck it

I'll give it a watch if it comes over the UK. Love a good sci-fi show, unfortunately they're few and far between.

Yeah same here, it's been getting good reviews but doesn't sound certain that they'll bring it here, guess it depends on its success viewer wise.
Is there another series of that Extant or is it done?

A show called 100 code started on Sky Atlantic last night. Haven't watched it yet but looks very good. It's a Scandinavian/American crime series, looks really dark and gritty. My kind of thing.

Just looked about Extant Dave. Season 2 starts next Wednesday on Syfy.

Extant is done after season 2. It wasn't renewed for a 3rd season. Cliffhanger at the end. Total disappointment really.
The problem with sci fi series is the budget is slightly higher than normal genres (due to all the cgi). Therefore, unless the ratings is really good, it will have difficulties lasting beyond a 4th or 5th season.

I tend to enjoy the sci-fi series that get cancelled early. I tried watching Falling skies when it first came out and found it all a complete bore. Jacked it in and it's still going like 5 years later.

That didn't die soon enough. Had so much potential originally but it really did end up an appalling show...........Still watched it all though!

Anyone see a thing called Making A Murderer? Everyone here is going on about it.

Oh please, Extant was done after the first season. The only reason they allowed them a second was because of Halle Berry. Apart from the Flash and Arrow, which I don't really count as sci fi, more like fantasy, the last good sci fi show was the X Files.

Yes it's a documentary about a true story of a guy who was wrongly imprisoned for a rape or something and when DNA testing was invented he was proven innocent and released and was suing the state for millions, then a body of a woman was found on his land and it was another framing to avoid the compensation case. That's what I was told about it anyway, sounds great and is all real life story. Can't wait to watch it.

Is The Last Panthers worth sticking with? 2 episodes in and it's boring me to death.

I'm at the same point, wondering whether to carry on or delete from the planner.
