Arts course over here is for layabaouts.
Students even have to re-register every term because of the fallout.
I have no problem whatsoever with people who are genuinely interested in art.
But when you put it on say a CV over here people laugh as its the lowest entry points and a job-dodging exercise basically for the dossers of this world.
May not be the case everywhere, but definitely here.

Artists are more hard working than most accountants I've met, it's usually the people that don't understand it that come up with statements like that.
I didn't go "I wonder what's the most expensive way to dodge a job" when I was deciding what degree to go for.
