Deserves his own thread after that debut performance, got to say I certainly was expecting that from him as he's looked out of his depth at times in the u21's but certainly wasn't out of place tonight. Two brilliant typical striker goals, right place right time but his movement and pace caused problems all night. Earns a start on Sunday. Well done lad.

Yup got nothing to lose by picking him on Sunday especially with the injuries combined with his performance tonight

Haven't seen much of the U21's the last 2 months but before that he looked decent from what I saw and for the U18's he's been lethal the last couple of seasons. I think earlier in the season he was in the first team squad, on the bench over Fletcher who had been starting all the time for the U21's, so that tells you he's doing something in training that the manager likes.
He looks a real talent anyway. The confidence which he played with was staggering considering it's his first appearance. Lightning quick and strong for his age with further room to grow. He looks 6ft plus already. He has the makings of a beast of a striker if he starts to fill out a bit.
Obviously we shouldn't get carried away but yeah, really excited to see how he progresses.

Wow. Brilliant performance so far. I will like to see him in the first team Always. He score two goals in the match against Midjland. Infact he is upcoming star for man Unitd first team.

It's surprising when someone who was on the bench for the reserves and hasn't really been all that noticeable previously, comes up and performs like that on his debut with all the pressure of tonight's game. Would be interesting to see how he progresses from here

Maybe Rashford explains why Wilson wasn't brought back from loan and like Jie said ... we should have used him earlier in the season.
I'm sure the club will protect him ferociously - It's always been a point of pride to protect the youngsters - Look how they've kept Martial in cotton wool as well.
As for playing for England - well Rooney got his first cap at 17 - would it really be so bad ?

Rooney was far more experienced. The kid's played 3 games.

Nah, I don't think they'll play him just yet, plus there's no chance Van Gaal would let him  But anyway, it's good that he's even considered so if he gets some training and maybe a friendly here or there won't be the worst thing
