So, he is on his way to Manchester. We will see what he is really made of... Let's face it, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are two of the greatest teams in the world, and it would take an absolute idiot not to win with those two. Man City are a different story, in a more difficult league. We shall see, however the greatest gift we can give Pep is the Europa league!!! Lets hope the Gunners do us a favour today and get something at the Etihad.

Pep has a job on with this current City squad, a lot of ageing, mediocre players and mercenaries but City will give him all the ammunition he needs in the transfer market and I'm sure he'll be a busy man. Then comes the hard work of instilling his philosophy on those players, they won't know what's hit them.
Question marks over whether he'll keep Hart, we could have a full non British XI on our hands and I'm interested to see whether he'll bring their youth through as well.
Will he leave up to the hype.. as you say we shall see, I don't think it's going to be as clear cut as people make out.

I lost a bit of respect for Pep when he decided to go to Shity because his philosophy would of been perfect for us but I guess that's just me thinking as a United supporter. Thinking about it footballistically he does deserve credit for taking over a team in disarray. He's coming out of his comfort zone which will put pay to the myth that he's only won titles because of the squads he's had one way or the other. I've no doubt he will succeed. People only need to look at the effect Klopp has had. Before he took over Loserpool were a shambles, an embarrassment even. We even destroyed them  Even without a full season under his belt he's turned them into a totally different proposition and that's without signing anyone. I can see Pep going down the same path. He basically has to rip up the blueprints and start again but I couldn't think of anyone better. What worries me most is the transfer windows. If a top player is set on coming to the PL who would they rather play under? Pep, Klopp or the fuckwit we have?
