No real updates available on this knee injury yet .............
Hopefully we will have some promising news for Bailly soon - surely he must have been examined by now ??

Gutted for Bailly, hope he recovers soon. Now the question becomes who do we play there - Blind, Rojo, Jones? I'd probably have them in that order, after all Smalling Blind is a tested partnership

For me Blind Smalling will be the regular pairing
Jones is in sick bay himself with no return date ..... Rojo well even when he's on the bench I'm already having kittens TBH
Bailly out is really tough for him and for the team .......he has been awesome, really hope he makes a speedy recovery .... but even if he does then we potentially lose him again for the African Nations Cup Jan / Feb if he's still selected.
So our CB partnership could be longer term headache .... time to get Timbo / Tuanzebe rigged up and / or CBJ back from loan ...... if Smalling picks up a knock we need an organized back up plan
Can't believe we can keep injury free at the back until early February
Looks like Mou will be obliged to use youth as well ....... a good CB buy in the January window hardly seems likely

no wonder, our only performing defender gets injured. Nothing changed...

Well that kinda forces the issue somewhat..
Well it would at a normal, well run, club..

Maquire should be a no brainer but as Ed says it certainly does force the issue. At a normal club Rojo should be sold as well which forces the issue even further.

well good news, but...
Bailly, however, insisted that he had not injured his hamstring.
'Thank you for worrying about me but I'm doing well, it's just fatigue,' he wrote on Instagram.
Fatigue??
