why don't they just become business partners. and blocking the view, if anything, it adds to it. its a lot better than just the stadium and carpark space. Or have the club buy it and have Giggs and Neville run it or something. Could make it the official hotel of united or something (though at those prices, maybe not) |

Manchester United plc 2016: second quarter results
Record revenues of £133.8m - up 26.6%
Record adjusted EBIDTA £56.1m - up 32.3%
EBITDA guidance raised from £178m to £188m
Highlights
Commercial revenues of £66.1 million up 42.5% for the quarter.
Broadcasting revenues of £37.3 million up 31.3% for the quarter
Two sponsorship deals announced in the quarter: Thomas Cook (renewal), Cable and Wireless Communications
Announced licensing deals with New Era and Heroes
TRANSFER WAR CHEST?
For United supporters (and potentially a new manager), it's the following piece of info that is interesting... money, perhaps, for transfers in the summer:
Cash and cash equivalents at end of period: £121.611m
UNITED'S DEBT DECREASES
That infamous debt that United incurred from the Glazers has continued to be reduced. The debt was as high as £716.5m in the 2009 financial year, and it's more than halved since then to £322.1m. It's down 6% from £343.4m in the last quarter.
