I got this off of MEN, but I figured it's good for a discussion.
David de Gea
Inexplicably overlooked for Save of the Season when his denial of Philippe Coutinho had Liverpool fans applauding. Had a few wobbles but was still impressive in recent defeats. 7
Sergio Romero
Utterly dependable throughout the campaign and has improved his distribution after giving fans jitters last season. The best goalkeeping back-up in the Premier League. 8
Joel Pereira
Kept a clean sheet on his full debut and has the ability to be a reliable option should injury deprive United of De Gea or Romero next season. 6
Antonio Valencia
United's most consistent performer arguably deserves the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award more than Ander Herrera. The best right-back in England. 8
Timothy Fosu-Mensah
Made one league start all season and his performances are too often blemished by rash decision-making. Might need to go on loan next season. 5
Matteo Darmian
Produced his best United performance in the Europa League final and was a near ever-present during United's best period of form. Often unconvinced but has secured his United future and never got injured. 7
Eric Bailly
He has already made his £30million fee look cheap. A centre half with the silk of Rio Ferdinand and steel of Nemanja Vidic, he is the prototype Mourinho defender. 8
Chris Smalling
A solid Europa League final performance cannot mask a campaign of regression. Injury and error-prone, he could have played his last United game. 4
Phil Jones
Got injured again. Formed an impressive axis with Marcos Rojo but then got injured again. And then again. Improved under Mourinho but too brittle. 6
Marcos Rojo
Mourinho wanted to sell him in the summer but the Argentinian proved his worth at centre half. Said much about his progress many United supporters were more concerned by his lay-off than Zlatan Ibrahimovic's. 7
Axel Tuanzebe
Enjoyed an auspicious start to his United career amid testing circumstances. Shackled Alexis Sanchez, struggled in midfield at Spurs but more assured against Crystal Palace. Deserves more playing time. 6
Luke Shaw
Returned from injury brightly but has endured another chastening season. One of the most fragile players in the squad and might have lost his battle to convince Mourinho despite undoubted talent. 3
Daley Blind
Under-performed for months after his September demotion but ended the season excellently and was one of the stand-out Europa League final performers. 7
Ander Herrera
Herculean at Anfield, influential against Chelsea and a nuisance versus Ajax, he has become Mourinho's on-pitch lieutenant and should be made captain. 8
Paul Pogba
Copped untold grief but was influential during United's best period of form, shone in the wake of Ibrahimovic's injury and scored the goal to send them back into the Champions League. 7
Michael Carrick
Steady if unspectacular, his presence in home draws often hampered United but still a classy performer when the tempo isn't too high. 6
Marouane Fellaini
Scored the goal which ensured United qualified for the Europa League final and was brilliant against Ajax. Committed a couple of howlers but overcame stick from his own fans to enjoy his best season with United. 7
Jesse Lingard
Unfairly pilloried before he signed his new contract, he showed his value as a squad player in games as diverse as West Brom away, the EFL Cup final and Chelsea at home. 6
Ashley Young
A reliable option at full-back on either flank who deserved more game-time after his superb Anfield outing. Crossing too often lets him down. 6
Henrikh Mkhitaryan
After a disheartening start, Mkhitaryan solved United's playmaker problem, the team played their best football with him starting and he has a terrific goal-getting knack. Indispensable in the Europa League final. 7
Juan Mata
Played his best United football under Mourinho and was arguably the team's outstanding performer at the halfway stage. Injury interrupted his momentum. 7
Wayne Rooney
Mourinho signalled the beginning of the end for United's captain at his maiden press conference. Scored a record-breaking goal and completed medal set but his form was largely wretched and he was often a hindrance. 3
Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Scored the goals which won the Community Shield and EFL Cup and was destined to break the 30-goal barrier before injury. His finishing also cost United valuable points but impact at 35 was remarkable. 8
Anthony Martial
There were flashes of the 2015-16 Martial but too often he underwhelmed. Mitigating factors did not help but could not retain place with little competition on the left. 5
Marcus Rashford
Began ebulliently but looked on the verge of burn-out before Christmas. Eased back into the side and was pivotal in the run-in - particularly the Europa League quarter and semi-finals. 7
David de Gea
