RIP - Football family members.......... insane ISIS have slaughtered at least 14 Real Madrid fans at a supporters club in northern Iraq. Three gunmen opened fire with machine guns around midnight at the cafe in the predominately Shi'ite Muslim town of Balad. Horrific pictures from the scene show the floor covered in broken glass and soaked in blood in the cafe where up to 50 Real fans had gathered. Posters of the club's players and coach Zinedine Zidane can be seen hanging on the walls. President of the Madrid supporters club, Ziad Subhan, said: 'A group of Islamic terrorists, from ISIS, came into the café, armed with AK-47s, shooting at random at everyone who was inside'. When asked about the motive for the attack, the president replied: 'They don't like football, they think it's anti-Muslim. They just carry out attacks like this. This is a terrible tragedy'. That attack is disgusting, what's next with these fuckers to decide that they don't like? They're just making up excuses to be the murdering bastards that they are, but nothing excuses their mindless actions.

Both I think. It's become such a regular occurrence that I barely aknowledged the Nice attack. It just feels like a constant loop of Terrorist attack -> #Prayfor[insert name] -> Forget about it

These things seem to be becoming more or less routine nowadays, it's almost as if the shock factor of these types of violent acts has just worn off us because we are seeing so much of it. I remember not so long ago that a murder over here would have been talked about for weeks and everyone would be interested in following the investigation on the news, but now unfortunately the frequency of these events have made us more or less immune to the shock of it and we just partly ignore the whole thing. It's the future generations that are coming up now who are going to be eventually totally immune that are worrying me because they will never have been shocked by these events in their world which will in turn sadly lower the cost of a life.

Red I agree, the world is becoming insensitive to acts of violence. If it is half way around the world it is " well just what do you expect from those people " they all carry guns. Any violence against anyone anywhere is an Atrocity and lets include our animal friends. The words of John Lennon in the song Imagine are so true. Such a sad world we now live in.

But then again the world has always was a sad place to live in, apparently now war which previous generations experienced is now led as a multitude of terrorist attacks. And more and more countries (including yesterday's Munich and today's Kabul attacks) are affected by it. The solution is pretty simple, but realistically no country would leave its political interests for the common good.
