Because of the drought we were experiencing here in Joburg I rigged up a method of diverting rainwater from the roof gutters flowing down the drainpipes. It was cheap using cool drink bottles and lengths of hose pipe. Did it work, well for three weeks it did not rain but then the rain arrived. It worked so well that I spent quite a while backwashing it out.

Unfortunately shuttering up a website so you can't even find it on google inevitably condemns it to stagnation / death eventually. You wouldn't notice Ali on a busier site with more people contributing. The downside is busier a place gets the more bandwidth it consumes and costs go up.

Been saying all along.. get rid of Ali and nothing like this will happen.
I can't say for the rest of them. I.e miguel monty and brendan but I have been pissed with him ever since he came along. It was so obvious he was trolling and spamming the site.
I have also been fed up with jie on her treatment towards me.. I have been getting so many stupid warnings for silly reasons..jokes that were harmless being made into such a big deal. Light sarcasm that was taken seriously.. where's the fun in posting anymore.

If Ali is trying to be a troll/spammer he is/was doing a pretty naff job at it, he was a little annoying at first but it's a new experience for both sides and as Ed said as this is a small forum with little activity you are going to notice it more. He is harmless and now seems to be getting grips with the games and the whole forum, if it really bothers you then block/ignore him and problem solved. As for Jie, you two have a love/hate relationship mainly love  but I'd just take better care with what you say/write. It's a little annoying that people have left without so much of a whisper, so if anyone else is considering it then at least say goodbye. Hope you stay Eric and I hope we see Brendan soon. |

I think we're enough grown up people that if you have a problem with something you can send a message to that person, like I've done on more than one occasion with people here. The warnings were obviously a joke, which you apparently did not take very well and therefore I removed all of them. I would be more than happy to go warning by warning, but I don't think that should be discussed in a Hi/Bye thread and although I'm still not convinced that I owe anyone any explanation, feel free to send me a message whenever you want to discuss it. |

Ali is a troll and now he has another account too. Its not like he doesn't understand things, he showed he can while playing games and suddenly post some rubbish just to annoy us.
I gave him the benefit of the doubt at first but itseems like he is a troll.

I found this tool which works really well if you want to avoid troll, nuisance or whatever you want to call it posts: Go to Profile select edit profile select Privacy Tab section member block list select the member (s) - type by name and then tick the action items of your choice:  In a thread all affected posts will not be displayed - you can see there is a post and you can choose to display it or not |
