Good for him. I'm not all that thrilled as that might have been our last chance to make some money off him, but hopefully he'll stay injury-free for more than a month next season

Glad he's signed, big season for him coming up, if he doesn't move to the next stage of development in the next 18 months, we'll be looking at a John Stones swap I reckon.

The season has only just started and he's out for 3 weeks? Let's cut our losses and find a buyer.

Come out and said the atmosphere at the club is nowhere near as bad as it was under Moyes and that the squad are right behind the manager.
I know it's probably just words but if it is the case the players need to start fucking showing it as on Saturday they looked anything but on side with the manager.

This dude has just lost his way. Was woeful against norwich. Time is still on his side though.

I was surprised to see him come out and admit the players are behind the manager, with all the rumours of "unrest" via media. Like Jamie said, it could be just words, but I have no doubt that it was worse under Moyes than it is now. Of course, all the words about taking responsibility etc etc would mean jack shit if they don't come out ready to change things around in the next match

Where is Phil Jones ????
Good grief was checking the stats and came accross this:
Luke Shaw with a broken leg has had more first team selections than Jones this season so far
He really seems to be a waste of a salary .................. just turned 24 years old ........... something has to change

It's a real shame because the potential is there for him to be a hell of a defender if he can stay fit. But there comes a time that you just have to cut your losses.

Someone needs to get hold of him and his game cause he'll be retired by the time he's 29 at this rate.

Before the beginning of the season I thought this would finally be the year that we'll see Smalling-Jones partnership after Smalling going on last year about how this would be his preferred partner. It's a shame really as he is awfully young, but I don't know how long we would be able to keep him broken like that.
